Corporate Sales
We are looking for a highly motivated, technically competent self-starter who can sell to corporate chains such as hotels, family-style restaurants and other companies that have a customer facing focus. You must have a proven track record selling into this space.
This position is not for the person who expects to be handed a stack of leads and sit there and simply make phone calls. You will be part-time sales, part-time marketing, part-time lead generator, part-time Powerpoint slinger and more. You provide the enthusiasm and skill and we’ll provide the laptop and cell phone.
At this time, this is a work from home position with some travel is expected.
This position currently reports to the CEO.
This is a full-time, straight commission position with benefits and potential to earn equity in the company. The more you sell, the more you can earn. You would be among the first employees of this start-up. The potential for earnings and growth is sky-high.

If your resume passes our screening process, you will be asked to prepare and present a 5 minute presentation of our product to the CEO. In addition, you will be asked to discuss your strategy for getting your foot in the door to our desired customer base.
Marketing Intern
This person will research the potential market for our product in the following areas:
• Restaurants: the focus for this part of the research will be on locally owned restaurants, ideally with more than one location. Future research will focus on family style, franchise restaurants.
• Hotels: Again, the focus will be on small, locally owned chains where possible.
• Other market opportunities as they see fit
The Market Research Intern will conduct interviews with business owners to determine the value of our product for their business and attempt to determine if restaurants and hotels would adopt the our technology and what they would be willing to pay for it. This person will also determine what barriers exist that might prevent a business from adopting the technology and what features are must-haves vs. would-likes before adoption.
Research should be done when possible with face to face interviews, however other methods may be used if the intern feels it is a viable option.
The ideal candidate is one who wants is getting or has received their degree in marketing and is looking for a first project. In addition, the candidate should have experience in using mobile devices and QR codes and is familiar with the latest social media sites.
In addition, the candidate will develop a competitive market matrix to determine possible competition and how to position against them.
I would rather have someone eager to learn and put forward their best effort, than someone who would treat this as "just another assignment".
This is a single project, however, there may be future research or marketing projects in the future.
